Few, and well served
We accept most new clients by introduction from professionals whose judgement we trust. From time to time we act for those who approach us directly, where the fit is exceptionally good. We do not take on more clients than we can serve to the standard we have set for ourselves, and there is often a short wait.
This is not exclusivity for its own sake. A short client list is what allows a director to know your affairs in full, to answer when you telephone, and to think about your position when you are not in the room. We would rather decline good work than serve any client less well than we intend.
A conversation, a meeting, a review
If you believe we may suit one another, we would be pleased to hear from you. An enquiry begins with a short note by email, followed by a conversation in which we listen to the shape of your affairs and say honestly whether we are the right advisers. Where we are, it is followed by a meeting at our office at Lincoln's Inn.
Every new client then begins with a private review, a thorough examination of your accounting and tax position from which we prepare our recommendations and the engagement letter that defines our work together. Thereafter you are served by your client director and a dedicated manager, and matters proceed at the rhythm you prefer.

A short note of introduction is all that is needed.
If a professional adviser has referred you to the practice, do mention their name. It helps us place your enquiry in good hands at once.
